International Forum on Soil, Fertilizer, Crop and Environment (SFCE 2024, Announcement No. 1)

　　 　　

Soil, as a vital medium and environmental factor for crop growth and human survival, is significantly influenced by the input of fertilizers, amendments, water-retaining materials, and other management practices, which in turn affect soil quality, productivity, and environmental functions. A profound understanding of the relationship between soil functions and human behaviors, and relevant mechanisms of soil sustaining crop production and environmental sustainability, is of great significance for enhancing soil quality, safeguarding soil health, achieving high yield, quality, and efficiency crop production, and promoting environmentally sustainable development of agriculture. The third  International Forum on Soil, Environment, Crop and Fertilizer  will be held on November 8^th-10^th of 2024, with the theme of “Soil Quality Improvement and Green Development of Agriculture”, to share the latest theoretical and technological progress in soil fertility, fertilizer management, and crop nutrient use research, discuss the potential future development trends in these and relevant fields, and promote possible exchanges and cooperation among scholars and relevant personnel. We hope that this forum will contribute more knowledge and technology to the green development of agriculture in China and other countries. Welcome to our forum.

Registration and Requirements

1. Presentations and Posters: Participants can apply for oral presentations and posters, which will be awarded certificates. Each Keynote Speech will last for 30 minutes, the oral presentation for 15 minutes, and the graduate-student presentation for 10 minutes. The abstract of the oral presentation should be submitted in about 500 words (Attachment 1).

2. The size of the wall poster is 90 cm wide by 120 cm high. The submission format is ppt (The poster template is detailed in Attachment 2).

3. For those who provide presentations and posters, please submit personal photos and profiles.    Language of the conference: English or Chinese;    The requirements for the PPT of the conference are: English or bilingual (Chinese and English).

4. Exhibition and conference sponsorship: The conference sincerely invites well-known enterprises and institutions to sponsor and co-organize the conference. The reserved venue will be used to showcase new products, technologies, and achievements, promote outstanding products and solutions, and share successful experiences.
